What About Me?: A Book By and For An Autism Sibling Paperback – April 11, 2017
Special offers and product promotions
"An honest, real, and age appropriate book for children who have sibs on the spectrum. This is a must read for neurotypical kids and their families. It doesn't sugar coat it nor is it sad. It's just real life and a wonderful tool to spark conversations." -Eileen Shaklee, Autism with a side of fries
"An eye-opening read from a 7-year-old boy who has a sibling on the autism spectrum. We need to hear more stories of siblings in our communities. I applaud Brennan for sharing his story here and reminding us all that we are special in our own way. A must read for families." -Kerry Magro, Author

What About Me? is at a great reading level for my 7 year old. Clearly written, nothing to interpret, just honest. It's easy to understand and very relate-able.
What About Me? Is a great addition to any special needs family's resources. I think every family therapist, guidance counselor, and library should have a copy on hand. Truly, I wish I could get this into the hands of adult loved ones who just don't/won't "get it".
Another great book for older kids or more advanced readers, is Rules by Cynthia Lord. It's a chapter book aimed at an older age group.
