About the Author
K. Darnell Giles holds a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Biblical Studies from a Christian university in Los Angeles. He served in various ministry capacities for over 15 years. He is a licensed minister and has been a student of homosexuality and the Bible since 2000. He formerly espoused and taught the conservative church's position that homosexuality is a sin. He wrote and self-published a book teaching the methodology of 'overcoming homosexual attractions' from a Christian perspective. He also taught seminars on the subject, all the while, suppressing his own same sex orientation. He no longer distributes this previous work or holds this position. Through further theological study, he has discovered errors and inconsistencies in popular biblical translations which incorrectly 'condemn' homosexuality. Having 'lived' on both sides of fence on this debate, he is a unique, hands-on subject matter expert.

Romans 1:26-27: "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet."
1 Corinthian 6:9: "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind."
The NIV version makes it even more clear:
Romans 1:24-27 (NIV)
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NIV)
9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Homosexuality is a sin and it is condemned several places in the New Testament.
Author, you're a heretic and this book is leading people away from life and promoting sin.
But, more Good News, Jesus can forgive you even of this sin, if you will only accept Him as Lord and Savior, turning from your wicked ways!
