The movie itself is a visually wonderful, often painfully beautifully, often tragically diabolical, much as in a Bosch grotesque yet fantastical image. It is a fine cast, although the ending is a bit perturbingly abrupt/too clean cut.
I will watch it again, but probably not for quite some time. It's a lot of emotions to handle, maybe too many, but though-provoking and memorable.
Also recommended: Ghost, Contact, Always, Resurrection (with Ellen Burstyn)
And hey, Robin Williams in a very serious dramaticic role.
It will have you crying.
The big question is, would you sacrifice yourself for your spouse/ significant other the way he did?
Very thought provoking.
