While a love story, it also contains life lessons as the characters work through their past and assess their choices via who they were and who they are. Realistic in its representations of the characters actions and feelings, particularly Katie's, make this novel even more engrossing.
A wonderful love story of second chances and how hard such decisions sometimes are.
Oh, they got together, but nothing else. Have an epilogue!!!!!
I am already looking forward to her next novel.
Yes, it's a `typical' romance, with a twist. In this instance Katie's dad died the night she saw Chris, her high school love, kissing another girl because of a dare. This and her father's death remain locked together in her mind and never get dealt with, so of course you know they have to meet again later.
Chris has gotten hotter and Katie more beautiful, and more distant. Can the hunky Chris melt her icy heart? You'll have to read the book to find out.
I give this book 3.5 clouds out of 5 and a chili pepper rating of 6, not for children but not too graphic... like I said romance novel.
