What the Rabbis Know About the Messiah presents a revised third edition, building upon the theme of a study in genealogy and prophecy. It cites biblical, rabbinic and medieval Jewish sources to weave a pattern that leads to Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. It is a friendly read, and is an excellent source of messianic apologetics.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it’s Hebraic Roots approach to the Bible. I have always said the Bible was written by Jews for Jews (For the most part) - therefore it is imperative for Gentiles to learn The Word of God from a Jewish understanding As much as we can. It will help you understand it much more easily

Not a bad book, but very simplistic. This information, and much more, can be obtained in far better books. Is someone is looking for the most basic information, this might be a good choice for them, but it was not what I needed or wanted. I think I wasted my money on it.

This is the most informative book I have ever studied on the traditional, 1st century view, of Messiah from rabbinical sources. When I finished studying it I was left amazed at how the orthodoxy of Yeshua's time could have missed Him.
This book is full of quotations both from the Torah and Tenach, as well as from the oral writings of the Talmud, Mishnah, Gemara, and numerous other authoritative rabbinic sources.
This book is not a book to read, but to study; and is an excellent tool for arming oneself to present Yeshua as the Messiah from the Talmud itself.

Reveals important truths
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 23, 2015Verified Purchase
This book is of importance to anyone who wishes to track some of the key pieces of indisputable evidence that God has placed for us to observe.
It is of particular benefit to the Jews, who currently dismiss what was the traditional Jewish view of the Messiah as 'The Center of All Creation' WRITTEN LARGE not least across the Tenach, but also much associated Jewish writings of the past. This indisputable evidence reveals both the work of the ‘Servant King’, now rejected, as well as His return as the Exalted King, who is yet to judge us. This book observes that in rejecting the evidence of the former, we deny God's love for us and His sacrifice thus eradicating our opportunity, be we Jew or Gentile, to receive our individual rescue from what will be eternal Damnation.
This book offers a clear track through history revealing the overarching plan from God, who offers the final atonement for Jew and Gentile alike, where He himself has already paid for our sin as we are incapable. It is ours to investigate and accept, or deny at our cost.
