I will be perfectly honest that I purchased this boxed set because I have been wanting to read Jade C. Jamison's Bullet for quite some time, and it was cheaper to buy the set than to buy it individually. But I will definitely be buying the rest of the series so I feel less guilty about being cheap.

I'm all about the rockstar romance, and I know well that there are a lot of directions that can be taken. This one is quite different from most of those, but I found it a fantastically addicting read. That certainly doesn't make it any easy read, and if you are looking for fluff, you need to look elsewhere. Also if you are looking for sleazy rockstar erotica, though this book contains some, this probably isn't what you are looking for either.

I won't try to tell you this is an easy read, because it is very dark in places, and more than it's fair share of angst as well. I actually read a lot of negative reviews about this one and have to disagree with all of them...those reviewers have their right to feel as they do, but I have the right to feel differently, even if I may agree with them on a few points. I guess it gets 5 stars from me, because I didn't have to stretch my imagination far to see any of it in reality. Valerie's dedication to Ethan may seem stupid to many, but I guess I just feel they are lucky to have never had someone broken in their life. The moving back and forth from past to present didn't bother me in the slightest. I felt it worked well woth this story. And, no, personally I didn't fall in love with Ethan, but I can understand how Valerie did. And those that question how a girl who grew up in a strict Christian home could listen to metal music? That just makes me think they know absolutely nothing about metal or teenagers.

For Just Lost in Us:
I don't read much NA books, since I am picky of them. This book was awesome! Maybe I shouldn't be so picky with NA Romances. Two souls who need love. Both been through some damage. Serena and James are two beautiful characters that you will grow with and love through the book.

Serena is actually nice and fun, when she isn't avoiding people and shutting down. I understand Serena and everything, I just hoped that she would have more strength for herself. In the end Serena did evolve which I really enjoyed.

Now about James. Rich and wild streak! Taking risks is just his thing and well who doesn't like a bad boy mixed with a non risky girl? Well you can imagine what will happen with these two. Oh and James has this thing with commitment, so think about that with Serena.

All these thing taken in and out came a beautiful story. James and Serena together is so gr! At first I was like, what the heck is going to happen with these two?! Then as the story moved on and then ending was near, these two ended up being perfect!!!

Layla can write those sexy scenes! She made them perfectly hot and was waiting for more rather than getting tired of reading them. Which some authors can over do or not create such a good image. Not the case here!

This is a debut book for Layla and she did a freaking fabulous job!! I can not wait for more from her!

4.5 stars

Are you looking for a cute and hilarious story, that is a perfect summer read? Then I have the book for you! Under My Skin was a great Rom Con story that had me giggling like a school girl and blushing like a naughty school girl!!

Liz is the girl everyone wants as a best friend. She is smart and funny and sassy. She says what is on her mind no matter where she is (even in church). She is unpredictable, which makes her fun and savvy. Liz keeps her small town talking and knows who's buttons to push.

One person's button she especially likes to push is Mark Daniels. He is a boy she knew from childhood when he came to visit his grandmother for the summer. The once gawky and nerdy boy is all grown up and a buff man now. He is back in town working on.... the police force, where her dad and brother also work. All hopes of avoiding Mark seem to have gone out the window. This is small town living after all. There is no hiding when someone wants to find you.

Sparks fly off the pages between these two. They are hot for each other from the start. To bad neither of them seems real keen on playing nice. Liz likes to push all of Mark's buttons and Mark pushes right back.

Liz and Marks' story was hot and steamy and fantastic!!!! I adored them !!! They were funny and real.

I have to tell you, I stumbled upon Delia Foster's books, and they are like hidden gems. Each book is even better than the last one. Hot and steamy and laugh out loud funny.

Kudos Delia for writing one of my favorite books of the year!!

Lost In Us:
I have still yet to find an NA that doesn't get in my nerves by the cheesiness, but this book is close. So. Fricking. Close.

I enjoyed following Serena and James's love story. how they overcame their guilt form their pasts, how they helped each other heal and let go, how they did things together. I didn't see a cheesy scene in here, but it's either I'm melting into a puddle in their sweetness or I'm burning up with irritation. I guess that's good, because for me a book that doesn't rile me up is boring. this one--oh, how Serena riled me up in the end. For a second there I wanted to dump her into a river of sense, but when I look at it from her point of view I understood her fears and doubts. I guess no one really wants to go again in the roller coaster of relationship when the last ride has more downs than ups.

I find James really sweet. For a man who is supposed to have shunned relationships completely, he sure did a good job in making sure he gets Serena. This book put me in that moment of bitterness that I haven't met someone as awesome as this hero. Book boyfriends are really ruining the real guys for me. lol.

In some point I hated it because some parts are a little similar to the other books I've read. I'm looking for a whole new twist and issues. The unusual ones. I don't regret taking the time to read this, though. It's sweet, hot, and romantic. It's good, and I hope the next book is just as good, or better. :)
