The book has a few pros & cons to it. The good thing is that the book is incredibly informative & gives a decent description of what a religious study class could be like. The book also has a few pages that allows the reader to record his or her own thoughts about the subject matter, which is also nice since it makes the book somewhat interactive. (I didn't utilize these because I wanted to sell the book back at the end of the class.) The book got a little dry at times, which is to be expected with school textbooks. (You can't be as free with your words with a school text as you could with a book not intended for the classroom.) I wasn't really that thrilled with the pictures, but then that's just an art preference.
This book makes a fine textbook & since it's not as expensive as regular textbooks (probably because the book is under 100 pages) it would make a relatively cheap book to to give to someone interested in religious studies.
