interesting concept on the history of the of the battle and the people involved. I have been a student of the battle of Gettysburg for several years now and I found this book a great and interesting addition to my studies. I would reccomend this book to any history buff of the civil war. A different approach.............

I especially liked the variety of people whose lives were linked to the battle of
Gettysburg. It expanded my knowledge of how broad and far reaching were the effects of the battle on both armies and all the people who lived in the vicinity of the battle. I recommend it for all those interested in the civil war.

Great read about Gettysburgs. For me it's the trivia stuff about an historic event that I love. This book is it. Wonderful, instead of vast armies on the field it's the individual that this book is all about.
