About the Author
Conor Cunneen is an Irishman, happily exiled in Naperville IL where he says the Guinness is good, the natives are friendly and he has been force-fed more corned beef than he ever had in Ireland.
Reared in the Emerald Isle (and with the brogue to prove it), Mark Twain did not feature on school curriculum. Little outside of Irish writers wailing against the English invader did!
While developing material for his professional speaking engagements to Corporate, Healthcare and Association clients, Conor discovered Mark Twain! And what a discovery that was.
In the words of the great humorist, it made Conor - happy as a dog with two tails. Twain once wrote: A man's intellect is stored powder; it cannot be touched off itself; the fire must come from the outside.
For this Irishman, Mark Twain provided that fire, a fire that ignites him every day.
Conor is a Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Ireland, a Chicago Humorous Speaker of the Year and a two-time cancer survivor who gives thanks every day to the wonderful caregivers and healthcare professionals that helped him and so many others. This Irishman has been married to his long suffering wife, Pat, for more years than she cares to remember, and he is proud dad to John and Amy.
