In this book we meet one of Paris, TC's few Were's Calla. Calla and her grandfather came back to Paris from Chicago where she was born. She runs a senior citizens "day care" for the paranormal and bakes for them as well.
Calla ran into her old crush Nash as soon as she was back in town. Nash is a warlock. Their feelings were still like magic between them and they have been dating now 3 months.
This books has so much humor in it. Like the fact that the town has a pool going on when Nash and Calla will do the "deed". The winner get beer for a year and a bucket of wings. Yep!
But not all is smooth sailing because you know weres and witches/warlocks are not suppose to be together and of course the path of true love never is smooth.
I highly HIGHLY recommend this book!!
The book is laugh out loud funny! The characters are so well written it feels like you should really know them. They are also so likable that you can't help but root for their successes. The second book flows seamlessly with the storyline. You would be missing out on an excellent book but you could read book two without reading book one.
Dakota deserves a new sparkly tiara for this book! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great paranormal romance story. I hope there will be a book 3!
A couple of my favorites are Daphne, Great, Ezra (who is granddad to Calla, and Twyla her pet lizard. The trials, drama, and down right hilarious things that happen, said and done will keep you very interested in the book and waiting mildly patiently for the next.
Dakota has done an excellent job of keeping me interested and entertained. Thanks.
Love love love your heroes, Mizz Dakota!
