Women can no longer "pretend it away." You can't pretend away 92 million Americans unemployed, 47 million on food stamps or the entry of repeat offenders, drug cartels and security threats along the porous U.S.-Mexican border.
Sometimes it takes a 9/11 or the non-response to the kidnapping of 300 Nigerian girls to jar the confrontationally averse into action - if only to say "that is NOT okay."
Ann-Marie Murrell, Morgan Brittany and Dr. Gina Loudon stopped pretending. In What Woman Really Want, they urge readers to do the same.
Because women don't want to come across judgmental, shrill or unhinged, many are reluctant to voice opinions because it has been drilled into them that it is impolite to discuss politics in polite society.
If more women came out and said "that is NOT okay," a transformation of cultural import would take place not seen since women garnered the right to vote.
It is time to say, "that is NOT okay" for data mining consultants and former hedge fund analysts (who've never taught a class in their lives) to write the curriculum for our nation's schools. It is NOT okay for veterans to wait for medical treatment to meet cost containment bonuses. It is NOT okay to label acts of terrorism "workplace violence" or "JV."
What Women Really Want has awakened what has laid dormant under years of spoon-fed relativism: Consciousness.

I have never written a review for anything before, but this book deserves it. This book was on my doorstep when I arrived home from work yesterday evening and after being in my possession for less than 24 hours I am already finished. I could not put it down. Everything I have been thinking, these women said it without sacrificing tact, graciousness or femininity and sparing no intellect. I am a 26 year old woman and I am genuinely worried about the direction of this country and even more so by the alarming number of Americans who seem to be okay with it. As a young woman I am a target for the feminist-loving mainstream media and as someone who has always stood for everything that they oppose, I have made myself into an outsider. This book addresses just that and let me know that I am not alone. The authors address the lies of the liberal elite and expose the corruption that permeates the mainstream media who cover them up--or in some cases justify them. Most important, however is the message that being a successful woman and being a woman of God are not mutually exclusive. You can empower yourself and other women without emasculating men and by doing what God intended you to do--be a woman--and no, not in the "barefoot and pregnant" sort of way. There's so much more to what this book has to offer, but I will let you read it. I think everyone should read this book especially my fellow late '80's babies who have emerged as an adult into a world so different from what we thought--where political correctness is everything and true American values seem to be a distant memory. This book brings those values back to the surface and it is up to us now to keep them there. Thank you ladies for writing this extraordinary book.

Being a single man, growing up in the 70’s and 80’s in a mostly female household with feminist tendencies, I have accomplished many things except one – understanding what women really want.

One gets permanently contradicting statements and signals. Claiming that they want a real masculine man on one hand demanding independency from man on the other, being over sexualized on TV and movie with no-holds-back whatsoever and at the same time wanting to be recognized for their brains. It is not easy for a man these days to understand women and the usual “ideological” motivated guidebooks are not worth a dime.

This book is different, as it comes from women who themselves uphold the principals of traditional values of family first, homeschool like Dr. Loudon, having supported their husbands careers and still are outspoken, intelligent, and stand with both feet full in life and successful themselves.

It reads easy, and once you start reading it you don’t want to lay it away (I read it on an 11 hour flight at once). This book gives you an insight of the true mindset of women without making you feel emasculated.

What makes this book special is that it is not written by ivory-tower intellectuals or radical politically motivated authors – NO it is written by women who hold both sides in their hearts, the traditional values of family and making a career on their own.

With every word you read you experience the compassion and honesty and the deep insight those women can give. This book does not need “tips” and “tricks”, simple by reading what these women tell you, you might finally get an insight in a woman’s mindset.

Class, beauty and brains! That is a combination that is invincible and these three lovely ladies have it all! Men I have read this book and could not put it down. These ladies should hold office because if they did, America would be in a lot better shape. Don’t believe it? Buy the book and find out for yourself—I did!
