The more expensive model features the elongated, oval seat (this one is the shorter, rounder seat) and also sits about 2 inches higher (which they call "Right Height").

I am not really sure, but all I can say is that one year after installing our American Standard 2889.216.020, I LOVE it!!! I find myself comparing it to all others I use in other households and I couldn't be happier than I am with this model. I almost never use the larger flush either as it works so well with the least amount of water.

I personally have no idea, but we have been delighted with these units. We have three, they have never blocked, they save water and are easy to keep clean. Highly recommended.

They are exactly the same I think. Home Depot has them in the 160-180 range. Not sure why the exact same model number is overpriced.

Is the power of this toilet limited to things on my end? Such as my current piping and water pressure? Or is everything basically on the toilets end? If you don't understand this question I'll try to word it better?

Can't tell you the difference, can only tell you that I was so pleased with this toilet, replaced a second one in the house.
