I could not FIOS this because we have other things set when this is on. I would get it and check it out. But why in the hell is it so expensive? Even the DVD is over priced.

Doesn't seem all that outrageous to me, most BR for an entire season run about the same price.
It will probably drop in price as it gets closer to ship date anyway...even if it doesn't this is one series I'll still want at the current price, I've loved every episode.

I bought smallville for $15 on black friday. I might do the same with Arrow. Then again, I missed out on the complete series set for Smallville. I may wait this one out.

I'm not willing to pay nearly $50 for this set. Best bet is wait until Black Friday or closer to Christmas and it will go down to $25 bucks! Love this series, but it's too expensive.

I canceled my pre-order. Love the show, but $50 is way too much.

I want to catch up on this show and planned on buying it, but this price is way too steep. WB's shows this fall have very steep prices. I will just skip them. Person of Interest & Arrow are 2 examples. I purchased other high quality BD shows recently: Homeland, Walking Dead, Bates Motel. All under $30.

Warner Bros. - You ain't getting my money with these prices.

WHY is anyone even paying full price?
It just takes patience. As someone said, they paid $15 a season for Smallville. I happened to pay $9.99 a season for Smallville, as Best Buy sold that series each Christmas at 9.99. Watch for Target, too. The most I paid for 24 was $16.99 a season. There's no reason to pay over $20 a season for most titles.
Patience and perseverance.

It was actually going for $16.99 last week. They were sold out instantly but I managed to order a copy before the price reverted back to $40ish. A whole season on blu-ray for under $20 is a steal.

Yeah, I bought this for under $20, but was sold out but they said they would send it when it got back in stock. So I'm excited about it. It was really a steal...very excited.
