A stunning book about how America’s biggest cities are being destroyed by progressive policies and woke Democrats.

Many Americans have no idea how badly our largest, Democrat-run cities have deteriorated. We've been complacent for far too long, assuming that the craziest elements of the radical Left would stay confined to the East and West coasts. But crime, drug addiction, homelessness, left-wing school indoctrination, so-called inclusive housing policies, and outrageous taxes don’t stay within the big city limits of places like Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, New York, Seattle, and San Francisco. The effects of ideologically driven left-wing policies always spread, which should alarm Americans regardless of their political leanings.

Jason Rantz is a prominent radio host, a trusted journalist, and a frequent Fox News guest unafraid to go directly into the action. He’s grown a national following by breaking news the mainstream media won’t, covering the consequences of destructive leftist policies wherever they occur. He was right there for the chaos in his hometown of Seattle when liberal anarchists declared an autonomous, police-free “CHOP Zone.” He infiltrates the Antifa marches and knows firsthand how those radicals operate.

This is the shocking story of what he’s learned.

Employing on-the-ground reporting and fact-based analysis, Rantz zooms out to conduct a fascinating detailed, data-driven study of how these liberal policies result in chaos, misery, and (too often) bloodshed. He skillfully recounts the tragic events with a narrative reporter's eye for detail to tell the true story of what's happening in America's cities.

A note from the author:

"I have two primary motivations for writing this book. I hope you’ll view them as important, as I do.

First, there are millions of Americans who have no idea how bad our largest, Democrat-run cities have deteriorated...

Second, for those of you who share my concerns about the state of our cities, it’s important to understand why the Radical Left believes what they do, how their policies are failing, and what alternatives exist to combat and counter their agenda.

If we don’t pay more attention to what’s going on in our most liberal cities, the policies will continue to spread. We’ve been complacent for far too long, assuming that the craziest elements of the Radical Left would stay confined to both coasts and that their ideas wouldn’t sweep the country like a woke plague. It’s time to take a closer look at what’s going on in our country. These policies are what’s k*lling America."

Editorial Reviews

Review

"In his new book, Jason Rantz rips the cover off the awful, destructive policies that have turned American cities from shining beacons into increasingly unliveable hellholes. Jason stands up for the law-abiding citizens who have been betrayed by politicians more focused on gaining headlines than on the health and welfare of those who inhabit their cities."―Ben Shapiro

"An eye opening book about how bad it is, and how much worse it can get if the woke don’t wake up."―
Dan Bongino

"The Radical Left poses a serious threat to the country we're leaving to our kids and grandkids.
In What's Killing America, Jason Rantz thoughtfully tackles those threats and challenges, giving us everything we need to know to stand in the way of woke Democrats."―Marsha Blackburn, United States Senator

"It’s a killer book."―
Mark Levin

First off, I was there, wearing the uniform, when the riots in Seattle that Rantz writes about took place. He absolutely nails the truth about the people responsible, their cover, their propaganda, and their violent tactics. He does so at his own risk of course. Because factual information about Antifa and BLM is those groups' enemy.

And the book is so very well written. Rantz tells the stories of that time and the motivation behind the radical left's willingness to do anything to destroy America in what I can only describe as a "story-book, page turner" way. He inserts his sense of humor and sarcasm when appropriate, but never loses sight of his goal to educate and yet entertain at the same time.

I must also add that, in reading some of the one star reviews? They repeat the same tired, worn out talking points and untrue rhetoric that I've been hearing those that Rantz writes about in this book for years. So, who do you think they are? And did they actually read the book?

Bottom line?? BUY IT AND READ IT! You won't be sorry.

In a meticulously researched and well-argued narrative, this book delves deep into the shifting dynamics of our urban landscapes under progressive ideals. From the surge in petty crime and tragic drug overdoses to the diminishing presence of law enforcement in the wake of 'defund the police' movements, it paints a stark picture of the state of modern cities. Particularly illuminating is the examination of the homelessness industry, where vast sums are spent with seemingly paradoxical outcomes — not mitigating, but exacerbating the crisis. This thought-provoking read offers a candid look into the complexities and challenges facing our cities, urging us to question the status quo and rethink the trajectory we're on. It's a wake-up call to the madness that seems to have overtaken our urban centers.

Enjoyable informative and entertaining reading, well organized and to the point. Rantz is at his best! Red, Blue, Grey or Green, it will get you thinking and is an excellent roadmap for healing urban ills. If you are a massive Progressive type, dress up like George C. Scott as 'Patton' and bellow 'I read your Book!' when referring to Patton's thrashing of Rommel's army....something here for everyone...

This man does his homework and doesn't slow down. He looks around corners and under rocks others just won't touch, and he dusts off valuable stories only those with ill-intent attempt to hide. He comes out swinging with so much detail, so many numbers, and facts it's KO in the first round. It's always a bonus when it's an "easy read". Jason just knows how to put things in such simple terms without insulting your intelligence. Phenomenal work. If you want to make this country stronger, start by understanding how people are going to try and tear it down, so you're not unprepared to stop them. This is a shield and a sword nestled in one cover.
