She also claims several high sugar fruits are okay and, likewise, they are not okay. Dr. Davis very carefully explains that only the berries, straw, blue, black and rasp are okay fruits. All the others have too much sugar in them to be appropriate. Guess she missed these pages and components of the diet plan.
She uses the glycemic index for her classifications and these are NOT the same as those developed by Dr. Davis for his list of foods to eat daily, occasionally or never. She groups "tubers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams and corn" in the "Beans:" category! If you're trying to learn the wheat belly program, this is NOT the book you need.
