This is actually a well-made product even though there are some head-scratching features. The lower rated reviews are 100% right. a) The fasteners are not only in short supply but are of poor quality as well, given the intention of this product and also, b) the instructions are just terrible - why did they even bother? I assembled this -- pretty much without the help of the "instructions" -- and then used the finished product this week for 2"+ of heavy snow on the driveway. After 4-5 passes in my driveway the fasteners holding the handle to the shovel section completely fell off. I didn't even bother to pick them up from the snow! So... if you replace the primary fasteners with stainless steel 2 x 1/4" machine screws with good lock nuts from the hardware store (I spent about $3-4.00), you should be better than OK. Add a washer between the handle and the frame because there is some movement in there as you work. I might mention here that the handle could have been more robust as well. After I did this, I finished shoveling my driveway easily and much more quickly than with my older shovel with single wood handle. The wheels make this an interesting tool. You push the snow off to the side and as you get to the edge, you slightly pull up and let the wheels push the snow well off the path and driveway. You never have to lift the shovel if you do it right. I'm glad I bought this, but I full expect that I might have to replace the wheels or the fix handle at some point. The shovel section is the key -- and it is rock-solid, I assure you. If you're not ready to upgrade some of the components, you might keep looking for another version of this product. If other reviewers want to dispose of their shovels they can send them to me and I'll fix them up like mine!! :)

I had a cheaper, plastic version of this that was my favorite shovel for two years and when I saw this one for the price, I jumped on it.
We had 6 inches of snow the day before, and I went out the next day to try it out. It removes snow with no effort and wider blade did it very quickly!
A wheeled snow shovel compared to regular shovel is like a self propelled lawn mower compared to a push mower! I'm not kidding. You won't believe how much easier it is to remove snow.
I own 5 different types of shovels and this wheeled shovel is definitely my favorite!

I remember the days when companies would send extra nuts and bolts with their "some assembly required" items. Now they do not send enough! So as if digging around in my own tool box to put this thing together was not enough, after using it one time to push snow in my driveway, the wheeled shovel was actually beginning to fall apart. This product is really flimsy. Although the blade is great, the rest of the design is poor. Too bad they built such a cheap product around such a sturdy blade. I am off to look for a new wheeled shovel. Save your money on this one folks, and invest in something of higher quality.

I bought this wheeled shovel with some reluctance based upon a couple of the reviews. Yes it does have some cheap bolts and nuts, so right away I bought some stainless steel ones to replace them and the directions were not the best. I also used nuts with the nylon locking insert. I was a bit surprised that the wheels were plastic. The blade itself is heavy steel and is a somewhat of a deep blade. The handle could be a little heavier gauge steel but if it ever bends from use, I intend to replace it with a heavier gauge pipe. The price was right though.

After using it 3 times on some 6" snow, I am very pleased. It works like a charm and the wheels make a huge difference in the effort along with the wide 30" blade. I am very happy with the purchase.

The instructions for this were the worst I have ever seen. There wasn't even a decent photograph to show what it looks like from the back. The illustration is so small you can't tell where half the stuff belongs. The screws were not the size as stated. I don't know how well they'll hold up. Frankly, I got so frustrated, I was ready to ship it back, but the box it came in barely made it here -- there was no way it would make it back to the company. I have no idea if customer service would have been helpful because they were closed when I was putting it together.

I finally figured it out, and took it out for a test drive before the snow got deeper. It worked fairly well. Much faster than using a regular shovel. It's going to take a few more uses before I decide if it gets a higher rating. The instructions are the main reason it gets no more than three.

As noted elsewhere instructions are pretty useless. On assembly I did add separate lock washers and so far all bolts remain tight. It did require both SAE and metric tools to use the bolts. Definitely check angle of handle for height of user before tightening those bolts. Also it was tricky getting the second cotter pin in place. I balanced the hub of the end with the cotter pin in place on like a 2x2" block, applied pressure downward to expose the second hole in the axel to push in the 2nd cotter pin. It is a pretty solid piece of equipment. Blade very sturdy. The unit could use a bar half way down the handle to enable carrying it. I have major back issues and I find that pushing 1-2" of light powdery snow is fine. Heavier or more depth I really feel it in my low back. The other thing to keep in mind is the need to push the snow off the driveway far enough. Since the snow is not lifted the snow build up starts to creep in from the sides of the driveway surface. If you have a wall on one side all the snow will have to get pushed to the open side. Just need to consider best approach to plowing before starting. We had 2 1/2" of really heavy , wet snow. Couldn't push it.
