I bought this to use for work in my service truck. I use it mainly for my laptop but it serves well for eating lunch too. It prevents the neck ache caused by trying to type for long periods of time on the center console. It fits nicely on the steering wheel of my 2012 Ford F-550 that does not have a steering wheel cover. Once situated, it is quite snug and sits level with the laptop on it. I like the depth of it because it still leaves room to get in and out of the truck without removing it. I would recommend this to any field technician that uses a laptop frequently.

Not for 2014-2019 Subaru Foresters

Does not sit level on the 2014-2019 Subaru Foresters, and I'm assuming it won't fit other Subarus that have the same steering wheel design. I wish they had a chart of cars where this product is compatible otherwise its a gamble. As you can see from the photo, the tray sits at a good 15-20 degrees towards the steering wheel. Other than not working for its intended purpose it is rather sturdy and looks like it would be very durable.
