I loved the plot and characters (The glimpse at characters from another book by this author was a great touch!), but a thorough cleanup would do wonders. I have read all of this author's books and it's such a shame when I have to stop and scratch my head to put in a missing comma, the lack of which renders a sentence completely nonsensical. Ms. Whyle is talented when it comes to imagining the story, but the technical stuff needs work. I wish I could rate it higher. Heck-I'd edit it myself if i could!
The insight that Whyle offers into the film industry comes from clear experience, and combined with the drive of Paige, this book will reassure everyone that a dream career is within reach. And then there is the steamy sexual tension! Overall this is one of the best books I’ve read this year. It’ll make you smile, get you hot under the collar and make you think. I found the ending a little too easy and predictable, not really in keeping with the rest of the book, but there’s no denying that it is a happy ending!

The book has everything you may expect in a perfect chick lit, but there's more: Nina Whyle's writing style. It's refreshingly funny and smart, with large doses of irony.
I highly recommend!
