From the Author
I share my story in the hopes it will help others to survive any similar circumstance or situation. My desire is that my story will bring you hope to never give up, because the darkness will pass. This is a story of surviving loss in general and, specifically, my family's mental illness, divorce, domestic violence, drug addiction, alcoholism, murder/suicide, the unexpected death of loved ones, and more. It is my desire that when you finish reading it you will feel hopeful and comforted in the knowledge that you too can survive any trauma that has led you down a dark path or just led you to read this book. I have come to believe that my purpose in life is to testify to the world that we can find happiness and forgiveness even in the face of evil, destruction and despair.
