Minor spelling and some formatting errors aside, I do think that the idea behind and the effort in producing this book were more than worthwhile. I would have liked it more if the profiles went a little bit more in depth and spoke more about how these relationships endured. Perhaps there will be a follow-up to this where that can happen. It is something to look at the pictures of black gay men though and see the love radiate from them. I just wish I had gotten at least 1,000 for every picture that was in the book!
So, all-in-all it's an okay book. It definitely could have been more substantive, but if you just want to know that sustaining a relationship with a black gay male can be done then go ahead and pick it up. I would look to other books for important relationship advice though.

I was looking for an interesting read. This was very elementary. But I do appreciate the subject matter and what it entails.Published on April 22, 2013 by Kenny E. Yarbrough
Knowing Darian Aaron's blog - from which this poor quality effort has been assembled - this book could easily have been called "When Ego Takes Over". Read morePublished on April 13, 2012 by Joey
