We are on the verge of collapse. Our nation cannot survive much more anti-God, liberalism, where government has all the answers. We have become a nation of liars and thieves. We don't hear the truth from our present leaders. They are putting into place a mechanism that will destroy our wealth, our military, our culture, our Constitution, our way of life. And because so many young people have never been taught the greatness of America, they can't see it and they wouldn't know it, because they don't understand freedom or have a worldview that is beyond their friends.
It's not their fault. Our educational system has done it to them. Today, we showcase people on government handouts and express how this stimulates the economy, and these are the people we ought to emulate. And people who want success, well they're greedy thieves. Never thought I'd see this in America. This is what makes this book so great. The author saw this and had the love for this country to write about it and warn people.
Thank you for a wonderful book.
When Nations Die
When Pope John Paul speaks of our current "Culture of Death," he could just as easily reference the latter stages of the Roman Empire or the heydays of Carthage. When many complain of the excesses of big government with its rapacious taxation policies, they could apply that charge to most of the other chronicled nation states. In ancient civilizations the evil practice of sacrificing newborns to the gods was commonplace, and today in America inconvenient babies are killed in their mother's wombs with the government's imprimatur.
Even less obvious example abound. The popular diversity and multiculturalism fads annoy most of us, but too often we dismiss them as silly diversions rather than look to the perils they truly pose. In every once great nation laid low, there were forces working to create class wars and split people apart based on artificial considerations similar to our current "group rights" campaigns. The breakdown of the family, which goes hand-in hand with sexual licentiousness, is equally indicative of past imploded civilizations. Nero's impudent concupiscence could compete with Bill Clinton's any day.Read more ›
