I received this as an arc and am voluntarily giving my review.
Love the supporting casts of friends and how darling Nick is just considered one of the girls. I am enjoying the When in Rome series. Each story is light but has a feeling of reality, the detail allows you to enjoy the trip as well, Plus the writing is masterful. I highly recommend it.
The story line is simple, but with in the writing, there are some very human situations, and some very traumatic decisions that have to ironed out and faced.
When traveling, and it's that once in a lifetime experience, and then something occurs back home, do you return home or do you continue your trip??
If you have a best friend of the opposite sex, and it appears as though your relationship needs to go to the next level, do you move ahead and risk loosing that very best friend, or do keep the relationship on the down low, so you don't muck up the friendship?
See, these are the type of problems the characters in this book face. It is raw, irrational at times and down right emotionally draining. However, they are real life scenarios, that people have to face daily.
I am proud this author has the courage to tackle the difficult issues in life.
I have to advise that I was given a copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review. I have voluntarily submitted this review.
