This is hands down simply the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. Worse then my teenage attempts at directing and starring in a horror movie shot on VHS. In truth I couldn't watch all of the movie; it's that bad! Don't waste your time buying or renting this film. What is really funny is the 5 star review above mine stating "Jess Webber i have to say im your biggest fan". A closer examination shows that it was posted by Jess Webber. Idiotic and hardly unexpected as some people here and on Netflix are trying to prop this up as a great film. I viewed it on Netflix and felt compeled to say something lest anybody seriously buy this. I'm no cinema snob and am all for low budget creative indie type films but this is really just so bad it's an insult to the viewer. It appears that here on Amazon as well as on Netflix people participating in the film or friends of said people are giving the film glowing reviews; fortunately countered by real people often describing this as "the worst movie ever." I wish I could give it zero stars or a negative rating. Cheers!

So bad. Just because it is a low budget movie does not mean the acting, authenticity, camera work, and basically everything else about it has to be bad. I usually respect low budget movies if the can at least tell a good story. I made better movies for high school classes, and I am not even saying those were good. It was like people busted out their old home video cameras, wrote a script that is nothing like what happened in Vietnam (dialog, apparel, meat heads, fat guys... and no black guys?), and over acted while filming themselves. Then they thought, "we don't need to watch it to see if it is good we just know it is." I would say it is a good one to watch as a joke, but it just hurts to watch.

...physically painful.

There isn't much more I can say than the other 1 star ratings haven't said. I know this is the worst movie I have ever seen, hands down. It is SO bad, I can't even describe it. If you have Netflix, please go watch the first five minutes of this on instant play and see for yourself; it may actually make you laugh a little! I only sat through 20 minutes of this movie, since I couldn't handle a second more of it. I had to write something like the person in the earlier review to make sure no one else wasted their money buying or renting this abomination! Just don't do it!

Keep away from this!!! Words cannot describe how BAD BAD BAD this movie is. My husband and I love watching war movies, particularly those about the Vietnam War but this one made us really angry. Not only was the script shit, the acting amateur, (seriously, a couple of five year olds could have done better), editing pathetic, camera work shaky, music hokey and the set did not like the Nam jungle one bit!! It looked more like someones unkempt back yard littered with a couple of concrete drain pipes. Drain pipes... Deep in the jungle? Yeah right. Our anger was not because of how technically inept this movie/maker was but because he made a mockery of the war and all the brave people that fought and died in it. The fact that we lost fifteen minutes of our lives watching this shite home video wasn't a pleaser either!!

This dvd is so bad that it's hard to describe all the negatives about it. It ranks right down at the bottom of the cess pool along with "We Were in Nam". Making movies is a concept that these people are totally out of touch with.

As with the other reviewers who weren't related to someone involved with this piece of absolute garbage, this movie is an insult to the audience or anyone who actually paid to see or rent it. I can't figure out if it's a play on The Producers idea with Viet Cong rather than Nazis. Anyway, there had to be a reason for this trash to exist. Maybe money laundering. There's not a single redeeming quality to the minutes I wasted feeling the knife in my gut as I ground my teeth watching this rotting junk. This is the worst movie I have ever seen, even if I couldn't take much of it without retching. STAY MILES AWAY!! For you who actually spent a penny to see it, let's start a class action lawsuit to get our money back. And for those of you who actually were in Vietnam during the war, I apologize. Whoever made this travesty should be sent to the Hanoi Hilton.
