In this particular story, Thea and Xander have known each other their entire lives. He is her brother, Cade's, best friend. They've always had a special connection between them, it's almost like they can read each other's thoughts...
Thea's best kept secret rest is she really wants to be with Xander! Whenever he comes around, she secretly watches him and thinks about what it would be like to be in his arms...
Cade has always told Xander to stay away from his little sister!! However, he has always loved Thea and wants a lifetime with her. As much as Xander wants to honor the "bro code" it's getting more difficult daily!
Then there's a trip to Las Vegas...
If you want to know more, read this fantastic book! It will not disappoint, I promise you!!
The older brother was made out to be pretty selfish. It didn’t really make sense for them to at least try out a relationship, even if they didn’t want to tell everyone that they’d gotten married. Maybe I would have felt differently about the brother had I read his story in Book 1.
I really liked Xander. He and Thea are in new territory, and they’re not the only ones effected by their actions. This was a fun love story.
I loved Xander and Thea so much and was so happy to finally read their story, especially from both of their POV. Their relationship definitely began unconventionally, but I loved how it progressed from beginning to end. I loved the natural and effortless relationship they had with each other and thought they made a perfect couple. Xander and Thea’s banter with one another was extremely entertaining and I found myself laughing on more than one occasion. They both dealt with rough patches and difficult situations throughout, but I loved that they had each other to lean and rely on at the end of the day. I loved getting to see some familiar faces, namely Cade, Rae, Jace, and Nova, and I was thrilled that a few of them were able to finally get some closure and peace to certain events that took place in Rae of Sunshine and this book as well. I was extremely happy with the conclusion to Xander and Thea’s first book, and I cannot wait to start Jace and Nova’s story in Dark Hearts next!
One night is all it takes for everything to change for Xander and Thea. Now they have the summer to see what they should do about it. I loved Xander and Thea. They were fun, flirty, and sexy. I had a smile on my face throughout reading. However, there was a dose of seriousness that Micalea included in the story. During those moments, it was very heart-wrenching but I did like reading how every one involved was able to deal with it. The story had just the right amount of fun and sexy mixed with seriousness. I also loved seeing Rae and Cade again. The relationship between these four characters was awesome. They have this special bond and it was great to read about. The storyline and writing was fantastic and I really really enjoyed this book. Though this could be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading Rae of Sunshine first to get a better perspective on all of the characters. I am excited for Jace and Nova’s story. Overall, a wonderful read.
Xander is such a wonderful swoon worthy guy. He remembers everything she loves and treats her like a queen and its hard not to fall in love with him. Another excellent novel by this author!

It is the second in a series and whilst it can be read as a standalone, reading book 1 will give you some more background on the characters.
Xander and Thea are in Vegas, get drunk and get married. Cliché, isn’t it? At least that’s what I thought when I first read the blurb. But in all honesty, I was looking forward to it because I haven’t read a novel with this storyline, yet. After waking up married, Thea decides to get an annulment ASAP but Xander convinces her otherwise. He wants the whole summer to convince her that being married to him is not as bad as it seems – because after all he has feelings for her for quite some time and so does Thea for him.
I love Micalea and I love her books but this novel was not as exciting as I hoped it would.
The novel starts off real great and the wedding in Vegas is a constant topic between Xander and Thea. But as the story continues they talk less and less about it and other issues become more and more permanent. To me, the story has one too many issues. Besides the wedding, there are two to three other issues the characters have to deal with and it felt all too much.
The ending of the novel felt a little too dramatic and too forced. Like the novel had to end with a big “boom” because it was lacking of dramatic scenes.
The cheese-level in this novel was not as high as in Rae of Sunshine, tho.
Xander and Thea were great together, but Thea was way too dramatic and too annoying.
If you’ve read Rae of Sunshine you probably will read When Stars Collide, too. This book is rather a book for fans of Micalea only, I think.
I hope Dark Hearts will be a bit better.
I was one of the lucky minions to recieve a ARC copy of When Stars Collide.
This book blew my mind, I was so excited to read about Xander and Thea.
Xander lept into my top 10 book boyfriends.
I lovedw that for once the lead guy was the one fighting for the relationship. He was so selfless, putting aside his own desires (thea) and wants (football) for those around him, until now.
I loved their unique, cute and comfortable relationship, which doesn't really change once they are together. Xander is swoon worthly and loves so fiercely its dreamy, he is so proctive too.
I loved everything about this book and was so freaking excited that it wont be the last we get of these amazing characters
