I have recommended this book to parents over and over and over..wish I had it years earlier when my older children were teens! But it's never too late.
His ideas and ways to talk to kids work on twenty-somethings too!!
Each chapter approaches the what, how, and why kids do what they do. I particularly enjoyed the why because if I can understand where they are coming from, I may have more patience with the behavior.
Quick to read and easy to use - I recommend this book to all my clients with adolescents and I gave it to my daughter with young children. May as well start these sound and reasonable approaches early. Maybe some of the crazier stuff that teens do won't need to be acted out, if she can get there first.

Great book. I found this book much more helpful than his previous one. I especially loved the Do and Don't do lists. I just wish I had bought this last year.Published 8 months ago by C. Provence
I am so grateful for all the help I can get. And this seems to be a lovely way to look at this challenging part of my beeing a mother thing.😅Published 15 months ago by Christina Nassif-Kleinert
