I was at first impressed by the first poem's punchy and powerful rhythms. These poems are also very honest and have a vivid energy. What I liked most however was how each poem made me think about situations in different ways. I especially liked the line: "And what if we were to die, never to speak?" It really made me think. I also loved:
Drips the stars onto the horizon.
The only companion I have,
Between me and the earth.
~ from Solemn
My favorite poems was however "So Tempting" where Estefania Crespo describes how her eyes sparkle when she thinks of a person she loves.
I suppose what impressed me most was the masterful command of the English language. Each poet of course writes so uniquely that it is difficult to compare Estefania's poems to other poet's work. She has a very unique passionate and powerful style which I enjoyed. Also she seems to have a really deep connection to the earth and laments that we will never know the pure world as it once was.
I think you will enjoy this book of poetry as much as I did.
~The Rebecca Review
"Are we all connected?
Or are we just motioning through denial?
What is more right for us to do?
Than crossing our own Nile.
Listen with your eyes,
And watch me with your ears.
For what you will not hear,
With your seeing eyes,
And see with your hearing ears,
Has always created immense fear." (17)
Although I do not consider myself an avid poetry reader, I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of poems. I found that in reading When You Feel & Don't Know How to Say, I was able to draw out and feel some emotions I normally set aside. These well-written verses led me on a very personal journey of self-reflection. A particularly memorable moment from "Bold Face" was:
"Not a day we can forget our emotions are visible,
Upon the day of revelation we will leave you stranded.
Never again will we take you home,
You will be bold face left alone with uncertainty.
When promptly our mind searches,
Another stage, another zone." (45)
If you read this collection in one fell swoop you will find yourself immersed in self-exploration. Like this book, your mind and emotions are all part of a poetic treasure. Take a moment to yourself! This journey is bound to surprise you and help you gain some level of emotional identity.

Estefania`s poetry, "When You Feel & Don`t Know How to Say...", is particularly moving. I read this short book of poetry and felt, in one word, 'Ethereal'. I don`t mean that her poems lack substance. Au contraire, her poetry translates to a feeling that`s heavenly and, or delicate. Many of her poems were not easy for me to grasp. I related best to her last poem, "My Darling Angel." It`s about the greatest and most misunderstood human emotion. Can you guess what that might be?
Estefania keep writing, keep singing and acting and playing. Above all, enjoy life and may God bless you...
However, I found this collection both thoughtful and thought provoking.
At one point or another I have felt some of the emotions conveyed in this moving anthology of prose.
We can take the fate,
Of the unknown.
When we are born,
That is what we are told.
Do we dare to stand up?
Escaping the feelings,
We begin to raid.
Accepting being human,
A s we undergo our senses.
Life beats us with a drum,
When we learn to raise our defenses.
This was my favorite verse by far.
A truly exceptional body of work for such a young soul.
Estefania Crespo has the ability to express herself in
poetry. I love this book as it is hard to find a book of poetry that is heaven sent.
Her poetry has the most unique form I have ever seen.Estefania Crespo Please keep writing.
