Editorial Reviews
"Where Do We Go From Here" explodes through what was and races toward what's to come. Five years, four #1 radio singles, and multiple awards later Pillar launches their first studio recording in two years. An artistic sonic boom provides an unnerving twist to the melodic depth and raw power of the never-back-down lyrics. Features the single, "Bring Me Down."

These guys kick it hard. If you like the way Dan Donagan (guitar) and Mike Wengren (drums) work together in Disturbed, you'll love this disk. In Pillar, Noah Henson (guitar) and Lester Estelle (drums) work in the same way. This rarity of guitarists and drummers synchronizing is difficult to explain for non-musicians...so I won't get into it too deeply. I will say that this combination of hard rock guitarists and drummers playing off each other makes a huge difference than when the drummer and the bass player are simply keeping the background time in most rock bands.
Rob Beckley's singing in Pillar is clear and you can understand every word. No angry growling (think Slipknot and the like)
through the songs. Pillar's songs on this disk have those fist pumping anthem style choruses that you find yourself singing along to on the first listen. And if you favor plain old head banging over singing along, you're in luck. This CD will have your stomping feet competing with your banging head all the way through...almost every song.
Everybody With Your Fist Raised High Let Me Hear Your Battle Cry for Pillar's head bobbin', melodic, kick-ass hard rock sophomore effort, "Where Do We Go From Here". This band is labeled a Christian Rock group; and, hey, that's cool. Praise God! But here's a Dirty Little Secret: Ozzy and any other rockers that might think you need to have a pentagram on the CD cover to signify that the disk rocks would probably be proud of these guys. So if you're looking for a hard rock CD to bang your head to, hit the buy button now. This CD does indeed rock.

P Funk, then add a little New Orleans jazziness and you’ve got it. This album is just what the doctor (Funkenstein) ordered. Very strong title track amongst many others, including a great version of Sly Stone’s ‘In Time’. Their albums are not too easy to get hold of as most of them are unavailable in the UK, as is Dodo doo doo. This is a rare and precious find.
