I love Charlotte, Ike, and George as characters. Ike was an amazing person and would have continued to be an amazing person if he hadn't died. But he loves his family and especially his brother that he will do whatever he can for him. George's life has been in chaos since Ike passed away. He's been doing drugs, drinking heavily, and messing around a woman that is nothing but trouble. The town they lived in has some really great people that are just what Charlotte needs.
"He saved me so I could save you, which in a way means, you saved me too.”
"Would you dance with me tonight if you could?".......... "Every ****Song."
I've had this booking sitting on my kindle for months. I knew I would have to mentally prepare myself for this book. Was I ready, No.
This was a BEAUITFUL book. Charlotte was such a relatable character in so many ways. Some not. Obviously I don't speak to the dead.
This is not a love triangle. BUT I do love Ike & George both. As does Charlotte. I will however say, I might have loved Ike about 1,298 times more. He melted me. And gutted me.
I literally couldn't see my phone to read towards the end of this book. I'm writing this review two days after finishing the book and my eyes are tearing up. I even KNEW what was eventually going to happen...... ugh.
Such a good book. <3
"Go to sleep, baby girl," he whispers.

This is a type of book that I would usually stray from as I have not been a PNR fan in the past, BUT I will not be saying that anymore.Read more
