I like the Men of 3X Construction concept but their troubles and solutions were over the top in this book. Maybe I've read too many tightly constructed police procedurals and romantic suspense novels by certain great writers. Things have to make sense in today's world and they just don't seem to in this story.
For me this book was the best of the three and really pulled everything together. This book focused on Smoke and Vianca's story. Vianca saved smoked from beng set up for murder, and in turn he offered her temporary protection with his friends and at his home. The two we attracted to each other from the beginning, although Vianca was attracted to him first since Smoke was unconscious when they meet. Not much romance between these two, they just got down to business. The sex scenes were amazing; hot, rough, dirty talk and str8 to the point. The background story involving the mystery with 3x was very good. The thrill and the suspense of it all really picked up in this book, and had me speed-reading through it just to find out what would happen next. I can't wait to read Brenda and Roark's story.
