Ben and Mia, Ben and Mia, Benjamin and Mia freaking Kelly!! GAH, it’s something about those two that makes my heart flutter at just the mention of their names.
Over the book years these two have grown so much, going from ‘enemies’ to husband and wife, to raising a family together and overcoming everything thrown their way. This novella takes it even further and throws even more obstacles at them, but in true Ben and Mia fashion, those challenges don’t stand a chance!!
Just when you think you can’t love Benjamin Kelly any more, that it wouldn’t even be possible to, J. Daniels tests that theory out by amplifying his persona. Everything about this man has been multiplied by one thousand to make you remember why you fell in love with him in the first place.
Mia is everything in this book. She is vulnerable yet strong, willing to do whatever for her Kelly boys. That characteristic alone gives me a lady boner the size of Ben’s nine incher!! Where We Belong proves that she is perfect for our beloved Ben in every way, shape, and form. Though this story is about them we still get a few glimpses of Luke + Tessa, Reed + Beth, and our next Bama boy and girl that will have you either smiling from ear to ear or causing a million questions to run through your head.
Either way, I think it’s safe to say this series has caused a rise in population for the state of Alabama as every woman is in search of those #BamaBoys
Novella follow up to the first book, with updates on people from the other books as well
Told from both POVs
No major editing issues
I have loved every book in this series so I was excited to get a follow up on some of my favorite characters. This book had me laughing throughout and also fanning myself when things got pretty hot.
Ben and Mia have been married for a few years now. They have 2 small children and are having a heck of a time finding time to spend with each other alone. When it gets to be too much they both get a bit creative with ways they can be alone...the only problem is for the first half of the book they keep getting interrupted in hysterical ways, at the worst possible moments. Ben finally decides to take Mia away for a few days and that's when things get steamy.
There are some follow ups on other characters as well though not as in depth. They also tease the next book which I can't wait to read. I love this author and this series!
I thought this was a perfect addition to he series. This book is so hilarious I had a hard time containing my laughter while I was supposed to be working. It's a short read that you seriously don't want to put down. Ben and Mia are going through a "dry-spell" if you will as their boys are getting older and require a lot more attention. Add the fact that Ben was assigned to the night shift for two months, this spelled the perfectly frustrated Benjamin Kelly to lose all of his cool.
The back seat of the patrol car and the lingerie store's dressing room were my absolute favorite scenes. You get a few pop ups of Luke and Tessa, along with Angie trying to reinsert herself back into her only child's life. This was the perfect novella and makes me anxious to read Sweet Obsession in a few weeks. I feel like I haven't read about Dylan and Reese's gang in a while.

Married life and kids isn't easy, throw in unconventional work shifts and hardly seeing one another.
