Losing her cell phone is just one more headache in a string of disasters for Brynne Calloway, 24. That is until good looking Fenton Abbott, 29, finds it in the produce section. The story pulled me in right off the bat—I felt some initial chemistry and their dialogue was interesting—I had hopes for an engaging romance.

But then their first date takes a high speed turn. (As in any kind of steady build goes off like a rocket.) So it’s seems that Fenton is a busy businessman, taking calls during their dinner and ending it abruptly. A little strange but it’s fleshed out as the story progresses so I would have probably gotten over that in the long run. But his pushy proposition to Brynne—to accompany him on a business trip where he’ll spend most of the time working and she’ll have to entertain herself except when he’s not working and then he wants her full attention, to sleep with her, and to dictate her wardrobe—didn’t exactly sit well with me. Mind you, she’s just met him earlier that day! The whole set up screamed ‘bad idea’ instead of ‘romantic.’ I enjoy a confident hero but Fenton comes off extremely cocky in certain parts, not to mention possessive for a guy that’s not interested in commitment.

Brynne, meanwhile, well she’s not looking for love either. Fenton is supposed to be her rebound guy and at times she holds her own with him, but then other times I felt like she still left the men in her life pull her strings.

It’s mainly told via Brynne’s first person point of view with select sections told by Fenton. There is a mystery aspect to this story that while transparent after a certain point, did make for an interesting side story/background story.

4.5 stars!

Wherever it Leads is Adriana Locke's fifth release and you can if you've read her previous books, her growth as an author is apparent in this. Her writing is thoughtful and poignant and really hits you with so many feelings!

Brynne and Fenton meet by chance after she leaves her phone at the grocery store. Brynne is looking for fun, Fenton doesn't do relationships. Their worlds collide after a mutual issue comes crashing down on their bubble.

"I love feeling the way he makes me feel, and I’m going to eat it up as long as I can."

Here's the thing...Fenton is HOT! I tend to not really point out the sexy scenes in a book because I really like to think more about the story, but listen. Fenton Abbott is the ultimate alpha with the biggest heart. Damn, he had me swooning so fast and hard! He's perfect!

“You make me want to be better, to take risks. I like myself better when you’re around.”

Brynne is absolutely hilarious! I adore a witty and sarcastic heroine because they're more relatable to me. Brynne brings it and doesn't ask for apologies. Her relationship with her best friend Presley is off the charts as well.

Like I said before, Adriana's writing is has really progressed. I'm not saying that her other books were bad, they weren't. I loved them all. I'm just saying that the story, the sex, the character development was there and firing on all cylinders. The one thing I wished for was more of Fenton's point of view during the trying times of the story. That's it! Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Wherever it Leads was fantastic!

Move over Gideon Cross, Jesse Ward and Jack Henry McLachlan because FENTON ABBOTT is my newest book boyfriend. I have read so many romance books and Gideon, Jesse and Jack Henry were my top three favorites. But not anymore. FENTON ABBOTT has moved all the way to #1. He is sexy, mysterious, attentive and delicious.

Wherever It Leads blew me out of the water! I didn’t know what to expect but this was not it! I loved Fenton and Brynne. The story line grabbed me and I couldn’t let go. The humor and the bikini scene is my absolute favorite. I really admired Brynne’s strength and importance of family. The struggles they face together but the realization of what Fenton and Brynne mean to one another had me swooning. These characters are so well developed and you can’t help but fall in love with them. Presley is the perfect best friend and why are they friends is so simple. I want Presley and Brady’s story.

Thank you Adriana Locke! I have a new “go to” book that I know I will read over and over again just to get my Fenton fix. I am addicted.

Title: Wherever It Leads
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 15, 2016

Wherever it Leads is a standalone contemporary romance. I think Adriana Locke did an awesome job when she wrote this book. I really liked this book it was very interesting, and captivated my attention right from the start and held on tight until the very end. I liked Fenton and Brynne together there story is so emotional and touching. Their chemistry was off the charts, hot, steamy and so adorable. The sex scenes were hot and the chemistry between them was obvious from the second they met. The more time these two spend together, the more they realize that it could grow into more, but with both of their futures a bit unknown, they have to be willing to take the leap into a future. Fenton Abbott wasn’t looking for love little did he know that would change his life forever when he ran into Bryanne. Brynne’s life is in limbo as she struggles to cope with the devastation of her brother being in a situation that could cost him his life, and an ex that is lingering around, so when Fenton offers her a chance to get away Brynne decides, with a little cajoling from her friend, to take the risk in the hopes that she can move on with her life.

I have really liked Adriana Locke's writing ever since I read her book, Sacrifice. I gave this book 5 stars due to it was so hot and steamy and would defiantly recommend this book to all my friends who read the same types of books I do. I am addicted to reading and am glad I had a chance to read this book.
