"A realistic look at domestic violence and the destruction it causes. Amanda and Nicole are so very different in their lives. In some ways it was a hard read - domestic violence is never pretty. I was unable to put the book down" Kgoldenh
"As a woman who was married to an abusive husband for 4 years, this book is right on target. It was so real and accurate. I could not put it down and the end just blew me away, I never saw it coming. Every woman should read this even if you've never been abused. " Karen
"I loved the style of going from one character to another, keeping up with each of them. Halfway through the book, I was thinking "These women are going to meet at some point. The paths are destined to collide." Loved the concept and the way it was all tied together." Kim Settimo

"Stacy Eaton has a way of writing about tough subjects that most peopleeither gloss over or simply skip altogether. She does not pretty it up;she just writes what needs to be said. Some parts are heart-wrenching,some anger-inducing. The book is extremely well written."
"Writing about domestic violence is very hard to do, but to do so in such a realistic and awe-inspiringmanner takes a lot of skill and understanding of the topic."
You're Not Alone:
"Domestic violence is a subjectthat not too many authors are able to tackle with as much realism andassurance as Stacy Eaton. The characters are well shown, and the imagery of abuse is excellently portrayed."
