This is my favorite of this Motocross series.
Georgia Bennett is the younger sister of Nora from book one (Throttled.) Georgia is constantly busy only stopping long enough to sleep...barely. She’s either in nursing school, working on her school papers, or volunteering at the hospital. Keeping busy helps with her grief since tragically losing her fiance. They had known each other most all of their lives and they were each others firsts in every way. She’s been devastated and now fears almost everything in life.
Brett Sallinger is the typical man-whore extraordinaire and his profession draws women like flies. He likes his women like he likes his bike. Fast. Uncomplicated. Replaceable. It seems he can’t go a night without a women in his bed. The man-whore issue is not something I am fond of in books but at least he doesn’t cheat once he meets Georgia so you are safe on the cheating home front.
Brett has had a severe injury while riding his best friend, Reid’s, bike in book one, an accident that was meant for Reid. Brett is in his mid twenties and has just undergone a knee replacement. Since Reid was called back to the circuit and Nora accompanied him, Georgia offered to care for Brett, check in on him daily and make sure he made it to his doctor’s appointments and physical therapy. She also helped with the grocery shopping and the everyday things that normal people do.
As the two grow closer Georgia is terrified because of Brett’s dangerous career as a professional freestyle motocross rider. She lost her fiance shortly after he joined the service and the fear she had for his safety was soon realized when she received the news of his death. Her fear for Brett is great and she just doesn’t know if she can handle being with him. What happens when it’s time for Brett to once again join his team?
I loved this book and the love story was so sweet and honest. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.

What’s It All About:
“If they want to have a future, they'll have to let go of the past...
Georgia Bennett likes to keep busy. So much so that sometimes it's like she's on autopilot. It's the only way she can cope with the tragic loss of her fiancé and move on with her life. Between nursing school and volunteering at the hospital, she barely has time to breathe. But when the bad boy of motocross gets injured and needs her help, she can't turn him down.
Brett Sallinger likes his women like his bikes. Fast. Uncomplicated. Replaceable. But when he finds himself forced to take time off of his professional freestyle motocross career to recover from a devastating injury, getting to know the guarded girl nursing him back to health becomes even more important than healing.
She's suffered so much loss already and is terrified of getting close to someone with such a dangerous career.
He's determined to bring her back to life and refuses to let her slip through his fingers.
With everything on the line they'll have to decide if it's worth the risk...”

The Best Parts:
This book I have to say wasn’t as fun as the first novel, but it sin’t intended to be. The relationship between Brett and Georgia is an intense on that sends you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Georgia’s character is one that not many can identify with, and I can never say that my husband has died, but when my father died the feelings Georgia is going through were the exact ones that had me guarded for so long. Elizabeth does a great job writing how Georgia gets through her life and even the thought process of moving on from a dead fiancé.
Brett on the other hand is the most honorable man that I have read in a long time. He is so considerate, but he is also willing to push Georgia’s buttons. They push each other past their comfort zones and it makes for a great read that may not be pleasant at times for the heart, but is well worth the wait in the end.
The Worst Parts:
I wish. I wish so hard that Brett would have made Georgia sweat a little more when she asked for forgiveness. I know that they needed to reconcile, but man I wish he would have made her work a little harder, but man is that boy a softy for her.
Also I HATE the epilogue! Why?! Why torture us with that, but what I am grateful for is that the next book comes out tomorrow so I don’t have to wait long to find out!
This series is different then what I have normally read because the HEA’s aren’t complete at the end of their own book, and the secondary characters that you have already read about continue their stories in the other characters books. This allows for the familial feeling when reading these characters. You learn so much about them.
Whipped was even cuter & more heart-warming than Throttled. I LOVED Brett & Georgia together. I REALLY LIKED the build-up to their relationship; the flirtmance, the day-to-day things they did together & when they hit the sheets & he called her "baby"... it was so perfect. *sighs a hundred happy sighs*
I'm pretty sure it's impossible NOT to fall in love with Brett Sallinger. He was incredibly charming, had a great sense of humor & was pretty much the ultimate book boyfriend package. The way he showered Georgia with attention & love, his patience & his sincerity are just some of the reasons why he got top marks in my book. The only time he got my goat was when he let that sk*nk Alicia brush up on him at the end. Not to nit-pick, but I would've LOVED it if he had immediately pushed her away, even if he turned her down soon after.
I have been Team Georgia since the day we met her in Throttled. I couldn't help but feel for her with what happened to Jamie, so, of course, I was very much anticipating her HEA! Georgia was sweet, caring & beautiful. Her attempts at seduction, the way she didn't judge Brett on his past & when she went after Brett in the end were a few of the reasons why she won my heart. Although I wish she would've cut ties a bit earlier with Jamie's family, I understand how it'd be a hard thing to do.
Still waiting for Beau to catch a ride on that "karma train". It'll be sweet when it happens but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't occur in this book.
And HOLY HELL! The news that was revealed in the last two paragraphs of the epilogue... CANNOT WAIT to find out who deposited THAT in the trashcan!!
Very excited to get my hot little hands on Chayse & Hoyt's story, Clutched! It's going to be a wild ride!!
