I ordered this clamp based on the specifications listed in the product details. The dimensions listed and even the picture in the product ad clearly show that the diameter should be 2.5'' so was disappointed to find what I received was closer to 1'' fully opened. Did not fit the hose in my dishwasher.

    They're too small. I wanted a Whirlpool part for my new washer that has not arrived yet. When trying to clamp it around the washer's drain hose, it is too small. The quality of this piece feels to be very good, but too small for a washer's drain hose, it is a good thing that the drain hose arrived with a clamp that fits, and I have other, larger clamps too.
