Ultra–slow melting ice balls quickly cool your drink without watering it down
Invented by avid scotch-whiskey drinkers, The Whiskey Ball has more volume and less surface area than a traditional ice cube- so they melt slower. Now, you can bring the artesian science of slow-melting ice spheres to your home without any complicated or expensive machinery. Incredibly easy to use, just add water, and freeze to add sophistication to any drink. Unit does not come with retail box. Please purchase the two unit sets to receive it packaged in a box.
Works great with pitchers, water, coffee, classic cocktails, vodka, whiskey, tequila, and scotch. Jazz up any ice ball with food coloring, herbs

Still makes good ice balls but has an annoying flaw. If you refill it with water right after taking an ice ball out of the freezer and then put it back in the freezer, the mold will separate to some degree. Numerous times I have ended up with about half an ice ball because the water leaked out.
The solution to this is to leave the empty ice mold in the freezer after taking out an ice ball and then wait some time before refilling it. I'd guess at least 30 minutes.
I've had this product for almost a week and I love it.
-Durable. It is made from silicone I believe and seems already very durable.
-It is pretty easy to get the ice out.
-Big. When I was deciding whether I should buy it or not, the pictures seemed like the ice balls it would make were kind of small. That is not the case, they are the perfect size.
-It doesn't make a perfect sphere. This isn't really a con though because they are only small imperfections.
Assuming it doesn't break (which I don't think it will) this product is great.
But, they do stay formed for longer than any other ice cube we use in our drinks. so they work.
if you want to entertain several guests, either invest in a bunch of these (that gets pricey quick) or start making ice balls long in advance!
good product, works as it should, bit of a pain to make lots of them.
Update: Distilled water seems to work much better than the filtered tap water I was using.
