What can I say - Apple produces great products. I purchased the cradle for a 2nd Generation iPod that I found after years of being "lost". The product arrived in great time. Plugged in the cradle, docked the iPod and synched with not issues. money well spent on the iPod and the replacement cradle.

This works fine to charge a 2nd Generation Shuffle, charges and syncs. I picked up 2 supposedly broken Shuffles for cheap at a thrift shop, not realizing they needed a distinct type charger. Wanting to keep things cheap in case the Shuffles really were broke, I bought both this and one of the after-market plug type ones (SANOXY® Blue - iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation USB Charger Adapter ) hoping at least one would work.

This charger (and the other one) worked fine to charge and sync both the shuffles. I find myself using this one more because the cradle is a bit more convenient.

It does seem to work , but it doesn't fit mine

My I pod is exactly like the one in the picture

Everything I try to plug it in it blinks and then it stops so I left it over night and it didn't charge at all

I will be writing another review once I try something I have in mind

I have to say I was a little skeptical. We've bought junk like this before off of ebay and it's been knock offs that die fast. To my surprise though this works like a charm. I am able to sync and charge no problem and the base lights up a light blue that is kind of fun. You need to make sure you push it all the way down and also to double check yours is a 2nd gen. Plus this was with prime so you have a guarantee. Nice!

Pros:
1. Price is great!
2. Works as advertised.
3. Glows Blue and looks cool doing it.

CONS:
1. I think it's too light, should be heavier or the cord should be more flexible so when you set it down it stays sitting like you placed it but that's really trying to find a complaint.

If you need a way to manage music or charge a iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation and are trying to save some money this is a great option for you and shipping was fast.

Doesn't work at all. Super cheap and flimsy. Blue light comes on but no blinking orange light for syncing. My Mac doesn't recognize the shuffle at all when plugged into the usb with this piece of garbage. Save yourself the frustration and wasted time/money...just get an Apple charger.

My dog chewed up the original. The price to replace it with the same ya right ill just buy a new one! Well this is the soulution very low cost and it works just like the original. The white stand lights up blue when you plug it into the usb port. The stand is not solid like the original though. Bottom line it does its job. It arrived on the first day of the scheduled delivery.

I got this charger on time and it has been worth every dime! The charger glows a purple kind of color. I would recomend you should get instead of buying a 8 dollar charger!
