There are some troubling times going on in America at the time this review was written. Unfortunately, the main stream media only focuses on the wrong things because they are propaganda machines and it furthers their far left ideologies.

Flaherty comes at the issue of the violence perpetrated by black mobs as a problem primarily of political-correctness shutting down media reporting. Therefore, with this silence, the violence grows out of control. The politicians and police departments are conspiring along with the media in this. Politicians do it because of the votes of the black and progressive movements... and the police administrators do it because a simple traffic stop for outdated tags can end-up as a full-scale riot with departments from 3 or 4 counties as well as SWAT teams being forced to respond to. There is frequently costly property damage. Policemen often get assaulted and/or killed. A police response to a black-mob riot already in progress is like WW III in the streets. There are many very costly out-of-court settlements for spurious complainants. The P.R. fall-out for both the politicians and the police is ALWAYS disastrous [the media again]. Flaherty is one of the few who will report on the simple truth, which is this: White on black racist violence is insignificant when compared to black on white RACIST violence. Not to mention that black on black violence is shooting through the roof. Gross racism and privilege are black things in 2017. Am I plain speaking enough?

It is amazing to think that there is so much violence by one specific group of people towards a different set of people, yet these intentional acts are portrayed as random acts by "youths". When the news would report, as only occasionally they do, I assumed youths meant...youths. It amazes me that it is so pervasive and yet people are not told the hazards that await them if they hazard too close to certain neighborhoods where the hostility and malevolence aimed at them could result in serious injury or death.
Why are these peoples behavior not brought into the light so that a proper conversation can ensue, and society can reign in these bad actors? We need each other to honest in order to improve our world. Hiding evil only encourages it. Like a fungus evil thrives in darkness.

This is an eye-opener: if you're the victim of black-on-white violence, you need not anticipate that a wave of national dudgeon and light-of-day coverage (let alone accurate, perhaps sympathetic coverage) will ensue. You are on your own. My take is thus to take this re-assessment seriously, and to prepare as though it will come my turn to be such a victim, and to be mentally prepared to stand alone, perhaps even be vilified for trying to defend myself against violence. This book and its sequel, "Don't Make the Black Kids Angry" by the same author exposes some things about the Main Stream Media that (having been married for 40 years to a professional journalist) I find horrifying. I'm glad the author had the courage to write this. I wish him all the luck in the world at escaping violent retribution for doing so.

Even with the plethora of evidence presented in this book, some people still refuse to believe what is before them and still view racially-motivated crimes within the United States as primarily "anti-black" or "retaliatory", as if that is an excuse for any person commuting a violent act on another. Colin Flaherty paints a picture of racial violence that is ever increasing and will unfortunately soon be too much to ignore.
