I was so excited to read this book after finishing Black Horse! White Owl certainly lived up to my expectations. Once again I was on the edge of my seat, wondering what was around the corner! Wonderful story and loved the ending! I don't want to spoil it so READ it and see for yourself! :)

I thought it was a cute relationship, it showed the hatred between two cultures struggling to survive life during I time of change for the better of one culture and the demise of another! Two people. in love are caught in between the destruction of a way of life, manage to rise above the hate! A historical romance that's worth reading about.

I knew the moment I started reading this book I had read it before, but that didn't stop me from reading it again! It's like a favorite movie you can watch over and over again, you never get tired of it! I wish that all races could realize that we are all one united people regardless of color or any other thing people hold against each other. If they would have the Indians would not have fought the white man. One day soon this will be a reality, just around the corner when the promises from the Bible from GOD (Jehovah) and his son, Jesus come true! It is a promise we all can count on. Here's to the future!

I love Native American romances. I absolutely loved this one. This is the second book I have read by Veronica Blake , "Black Horse" being the first. As with "Black Horse", the story line of "White Owl" also has a different twist to it than other NA romances I have read. I love how this author writes. Both books are two of my favorite books I have read, and will read again, and Veronica Blake is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I loved this book. I loved White Owl and Rose's story. I like that it is different than the other NA romances. It was an enjoyable read. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

This was a sweet romance with lots of steamy lovin. There was your expected "bad guy" and the prejudices of the time. All in all, I really enjoyed the story of Wild Rose and White Owl. Aunt Maggie is a wonderful champion and Paddy turns around.

I will say that I am not a big fan of westerns , and I don't think I ever will be . But there is just something about the way Ms. Blake writes,  that will make you fall in love with her books no matter what genre they are in. And now you ask they key question..... " If you dislike westerns, then why would you pick up a book like Black Horse ?  Well here's the deal , one : the cover was gorgeous and snagged my attention and second :  the blurb was amazing and intriguing. So I thought why not give it a try. This is the second book of hers that I have read. The first being Black Horse and is in the same western-ish type genre.

I absolutely loved Black Horse and could not wait to read another book by Ms. Blake.

In White Owl , Ms. Blake has taken her writing to a whole new level. The main characters were amazing.  White Owl is a fierce Ute Warrior and gorgeous to boot ! With a that long dark raven hair and that sun kissed tan skin . He falls for the one thing he can't have....A white woman. But that doesn't stop him, he knows that Rose is his soulmate and will let nothing get in the way of them being together.

And Rose , She is fierce in her own way. Flame red hair and startling blue eyes , Rose is a beauty inside and out. And she makes on heck of a leading lady. Her love for White Owl scares her because it is a fierce and strong love. And White Owl is a Ute Warrior, an Indian and Rose is suppose to say away from the Indians.  For they are savage beasts who hate the white men. But Rose can't help how she feels for White Owl .

With a war raging between the Indians and the Whites, White Owl and Rose have the most to lose . They will face anything to be together.

White Owl is an epic romance about finding love and fighting for it . A definite must read !!

This is the second Veronica Blake novel I've read. White Owl was just as good as Black Horse. I'll be adding this one to my favorites too. I couldn't put this book down, the characters were interesting and the story moved quickly. These two titles, White Owl and Black Horse are the only two Native American titles I could find attributed to Veronica Blake. I hope there are or will be others. I'm definitely a fan!

A real good love story about your typical well bred girl falling in love with a Ute warrior and her family is not liking it at all, and the troubles the have trying to be together. A very fast paced read. Like this author.
