Katie Mettner writes inspirational romances. As an amputee, she writes realistically about people with physical challenges. In her own words, she writes “about empowering people with special circumstances to find the one person who will love them because of their abilities, not inabilities.”
If you have read Katie Mettner books before then you know that she brings attention to characters who are special. They touch your heart with their personality and there is always that character who has a special challenge and that is what really pulled me in to her writing. If you haven't read any of her books your TBR list will grow a lot. I know mine did.
Eli Sheets left his life in Michigan with his daughter, Molly, to start a new life in a tiny town in Wisconsin. He had inherited a house from his Uncle Sal, but he soon discovered he had inherited so much more. He hadn’t just inherited a house, he had inherited a home and a loving community… and Ghostie.
As usual I fell in love with Katie Mettner’s “leading man”, but I also fell in love with his daughter. White Sheets & Rosy Cheeks is not only another example of a beautifully written contemporary inspirational romance written by Katie Mettner, it also contains a touch of magic. I not only finished this book with a smile on my face, I was smiling most of the time I was reading it.
I gave White Sheets & Rosy Cheeks 5 stars.
