Praise for the White Trash Zombie series:
“Rowland is a hilarious writer, and her White Trash Zombie series shines in a crowded genre.” —USA Today
“An incredibly fun series, and a breath of fresh air in an increasingly crowded field.... While there's no denying that the basic premise is fascinating and entertaining, the real draw here is Angel's personal journey of growth and self-discovery.” —Tor.com
“Uber-talented Rowland takes a break from her Demon series to produce a wonderful story with a zombie heroine who is endearing and engaging. This unique twist on a coming-of-age story explores a young woman’s journey toward self-acceptance in the face of long odds. Throw in the need for brains and a nasty serial killer and presto—you have the recipe for a terrific read!” —RT Book Reviews
“An intriguing mystery and a hilarious mix of the horrific and mundane aspects of zombie life open a promising new series from Rowland.... Humor and gore are balanced by surprisingly touching moments as Angel tries to turn her (un)life around.” —Publishers Weekly
“Rowland’s delightful novel jumps genre lines with a little something for everyone—mystery, horror, humor, and even a smattering of romance. Not to be missed—all that’s required is a high tolerance for gray matter. For true zombiephiles, of course, that’s a no brainer.” —Library Journal
“Blending very mild horror, humor and mystery, I was hooked from the start. Both urban fantasy and zombie fans will enjoy this highly entertaining novel. Full of suspense, drama, and several surprising twists, this is one zombie story I couldn’t get enough of.” —Sci Fi Chick
“Angel will make you laugh out loud, and she will also make you come close to losing your lunch. After all, these are creatures that suck down pureed brains for a pick-me-up.... Angel is a distinct character, and she has grown through the series.” —Kings River Life Magazine
“Equally gross and heartwarming, disgusting and riveting, My Life as a White Trash Zombie is a clever read. If you like to see a flawed heroine pull herself back up, and can handle visceral imagery, it’s a brilliant book. Fans of Carolyn Crane, Stacia Kane and Allison Pang will dig on this one. Big time.” —Vampirebookclub.net

Q: "Will there be another white trash zombie book or was this the end?"
A: There will... but I have another project I want to work on first, so it may be a couple of years before I can get back to Angel.
So it is NOT the end it would appear.
This was a GREAT story and once again we see Angel trying to be all things to all people. This Angel is a far cry from the one we met in book 1 and has started to make herself into a real example of how to remake yourself into a better person .... even if she is kinda dead.
We have great moments from "The Great Frog Escape" to actual "Save The World" plots and I loved them all and the way she uses all her characters and you feel like you know them all.
The mix of humor and serious plots make these books exceptional when you consider the heroes/heroines in these books are mostly zombies (the brain eating is kept to a minimum in this book).
I am concerned that this has all the markings of a final book in the series, seems all loose ends are tied up and some HEA along the way for more than 1 of the characters but if it is then we went out with a exceptional book, 5 Stars and hope to see more of Angel.
The book had very cozy feeling, without being overly kitsch.
The mystery was awesome, with lots of fun action and cool twists. Glad we got read of the big bad of the series. And I liked how it was done, and how it was used.
In previous books the romantic sub-plot always felt strained, I was glad how sweet and realistic the romance was in this one. Angel ended with the best choice of them all.
I will definitely read more white trash zombie, if the series will continue.
I waited ans waited for this book to come out. I started reading it on Kindle first, But Missed Allison's voice so much, I had to get the Audio. She really gives life to Angel and the other so well, i could see no one else doing better.
I can not say enough about this series! its a must read for a good Mystery, Zombie book. Both genres I think would be please! this book was so good, and the rest of the series!
Great work Diana and Allison! I hope to be here more from you both soon!!
If this is the end of the series, which I hope it isn't (as does my nearly 70 year old mother), Diana Rowland did it beautifully - a "happily ever after" in a zombie apocalypse (sorta) is not easily accplished.
Reward yourself - read this series and you will be glad you did!
