Assembly was quick and easy once we figured out how to do it. There were no assembly instructions included in the package. The four support legs are inserted in holes on the bottom end of each of the four spokes and the four corners of the net must be stretched to slip beneath the nub on the outer edge of each leg. After use, a catch must be released to get the four spokes to collapse. The collapsed rack will hang from a hook or a bar in a closet, but each rack will take up several inches bar space.
This product works very well and we have no complaints, except that assembly instructions would have been helpful.
Since the cellophane packaging had to be ripped in order to open the rack, I am assuming I cannot return it. I'll need to check on this with Amazon.
I have just purchased two stackable sweater racks from Bed Bath and Beyond (from their 3B Livesmart line). Although they can't be folded for easy storage, they are excellent - sturdy and suitable for even a very heavy sweater.
Easy to open, just put the net, and ready.
But not easy to close, because one of the plastic lock part stacks in the hole. So, I have to use a metal stick to lift one of the plastic lock to close.
Other than that. This is a good product. So, I gave them four stars.
This is a flimsy plastic rack that will probably break in a week or two. The netting makes it inadequate for anything other than extremely lightweight items.

Just put mine together in seconds. It is ingenious but flimsy. Will likely need to place a support under the central hinge when drying a wool sweater or it will collapse. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Marjorie Varner
In some cases, the netting is too small and barely fits over the frame. In other cases, it is too big, and droops.Published 4 months ago by Amazon Customer
Perfect for what I needed. I ordered five, to stack on top of one another, and they hold heavy wool sweaters without buckling, and fold back up when I'm done.Published 4 months ago by Peter G
I have used this item several times now, folding and unfolding it each time. The frame does seem like a lightweight plastic, and it needs to "snap" into place, so I am not... Read morePublished 5 months ago by CRKritzer
This product was terrible. The rectangular plastic base does not fit the msquare mesh - the geometry just does not work. We returned it.Published 5 months ago by Bridgette Doherty
Not good at all, falling a part, and need to be adjusted all the timePublished 5 months ago by Regina Tatevosyan
Very difficult to use. Legs fall off easily without any encouragement and pressure of mesh pops the legs off. Buy a different rack.Published 5 months ago by Bonnie Jean
