Top customer reviews
These pins are very lightweight wood. Compare my picture below to the manufacturer image on the product page, and you can see that the wood on the pins I got is neither as smooth nor as thick. The metal clamp that holds the two wooden halves together is not particularly tight; notice also in the picture that I have quite easily twisted the clothespin out of position.
These pins are not nearly as tight as what you need to hang most thick or heavy clothing---I was able to hang a light cotton blouse, but not a sweatshirt or any pants I tried. So, OK for craft or hobby work, but not for actual clothes-hanging work.
The pop up clothspin bag, while very well constructed, is badly designed. The clip to attach to the laundry line is too small and difficult to attach to the laundry line, even if the laundry line is of small diameter. Pop up, in my experience, implies a means of holding the bag in the compressed state, there is none. The limited hole in the top means one has to concentrate each time one withdraws a clothspin. A zip lock, affixed to the clothsline with a clothspin, is more easily moved and the clothspins are more easily accesssed.
The Whitmor Clip and Drip Hanger w/ 26 Clips is similarly unsuitable. The hanger tends to spontaneously disassemble itself; one of the clips, and one of the hanging ‘chains’ (plastic) were disconnected in shipping. The construction is NOT robust.
The Rosiness Stainless Steel Hanging Rack for Laundry Clothesline Drying Clothing with 20 Sturdy Clothespins (Rectangle), which I purchased at the same time is satisfacory, though I would have appreciated a slightly more robust wire for it’s construction.
