"Sahno's sensitive treatment of the common pains facing all people makes for some of the most imaginative storytelling I have read in a long time."

The idea that Mike's cousin, a meer six-years-old, was the time jumping relative was different, but it was a little hard to grasp on that concept.
The world-building was done well for its genre, and the characters brought the place (and time) to a realistic point.
I want potential readers to keep in mind the idea of this novel. To travel through time to help others and at the same time, help yourself. If this is something that sounds up your alley then what are you waiting for? Grab a copy! It's available now!
However, I enjoyed the emotions drawn out by the characters. Sadly, I didn't connect with them which is another reason I didn't rate this a four star.
The world felt shallow and under-developed and I didn't quite grasp the concept of the "whizzer" or its purpose. I found myself asking alot of "Wait, what?" moments. Re-reading drives me crazy and unfortunately, I had to do it a few times.
But! I liked the book and definitely will be reading more of the author's work.
Those listed above,as well as all those great writers have a way of creating an empathy w the reader. The reader recognizes something of themselves in the characters they create. Mr. Sahno does that and more. He creates circumstances and story in which the reader not only follows the character(s) he creates, but enables the reader to revisit moments in their own life. And does so with a deftly gentle hand. Many times in this piece I was reminded of my own family and friends and moments of my life which have had formative influences in my life, not all pretty, but giving balance and acceptance within the scope of ones life. He creates a sense of hope for his character(s) and their travels,as well as the reader.
It's a fun read....reminiscent of a rollercoaster ride, filled w highs and drops which are exhilarating and slower moments allowing for an involved contemplation and self exploration. It takes great courage to create and reveal ones self. Mr. Sahno has great courage. I thank you,Mr. Sahno for sharing that with your readers.
I recommend this to all who enjoy mystery, adventure, and a voyage of self discovery and forgiveness.
I'll revisit this work again.
The person receiving the comfort would have no memory afterward, though the solace itself lingers in their hearts and feelings.
My take on the novel was a mix of fantasy and science fiction with a dash of spirituality, all well combined. Our protagonist finds himself through his own journey becoming a “whizzer” and being made to feel comfortable in the role, by several guides. I was reminded of elements of the Wizard of Oz (finding you never actually left home or your loved ones) and the Divine Comedy (growing as you ascend from hell to spiritual consciousness.) The descriptions and characters are made real though the situations themselves are feats of imagination. All in all a quick read, and a good one. It lingers in the mind, which frankly to me is the aim of fiction, if it has any merit. Highly recommended!
