Of the 40 or so board books that my 15 month old owns, this is one of the 5 that he shows the least interest in reading. There are two bears rolling on the grass on every page, and this provides no opportunity to use a variety of vocabulary. His favorite board books are Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell, All About Me by Dawn Sirett, Baby Faces by Dorling Kindersley, I Love Colors by Margaret Miller, Baby Says Peekaboo by Dorling Kindersley, Bathtime Peekaboo by Dorling Kindersley, Baby Talk by Dawn Sirett and Victoria Blackie, Little White Duck by Bernard Zaritzky and Joan Paley, Touch and Feel Farm by DK Publishing, and Where is Maisy by Lucy Cousins? All of those are read 20 times as often as this one.

My 6-month old son loves this book! He gets so excited for me to turn the page so he can touch the next bear. I am buying it for my friends also and I'm looking for some other touch & feel books to buy.

Other than the annoying misuse of "who" in the title and throughout the book (it should be "whom"), this is a great touch & feel book! Six different colors/textures of fur help to illustrate the different bears on each page. Two minor annoyances are the lack of a mention of "Grandpa" (despite mention of "Grandma"), and a VERY forced rhyme on the last page, but a fun read for our son.

The story is not particularly captivating, though my 20 mos old son briefly enjoys rubbing the different colored fur. I'd also say he's bored by too similar textures... he definitely prefers books with a variety of "animal" textures. The illustrations are crisp and bold. Overall, it's ok.

This is such a sweet and simple story. It's a touch and feel book with flaps so my 13 month old daughter loves to be involved in the reading. It's a great book before a nap or bed. I did get the bigger edition and wish I had gotten the "normal" size book since the bigger one is a bit bulky.

My 9 month old loves this book. I have been reading to her since she was born. This has been her favorite book and still is. We read it at least once a day. The second I start reading she smiles and gets so excited.

The reason this is so sweet is its all about family love. I thought it should have included grandpa, but its still a good book for little ones to have read to them. My grandson loves to look at it alone and touch/feel all the bears. Amazon has great prices on these type of books.

My 18 month old loves this book and loves to rub the texture on each page. In the short book, it goes through asking Little Bear "Who do you love?" And he answers with his different family members....but Grandpa is missing! He says he loves his mom, dad, grandma, brother, and sister. What? Why is there no Grandpa? Anyway, I gave it four stars because it has the attention of my 18 month old, but it bothers me that Grandpa wasn't included.
