I thoroughly appreciate the diligent research, courage, and clear writing of Chamish.
This is my only outing reading Chamish but by what I see in this edition Chamish has produced in my
opinion a well founded, cited, researched, and clear thinking appraisal of the Rabin murder.
I've read a number of books about criminal investigations and Chamish here knocks it out of the park.
If a person is interested in finding out more about Israel or a recent high-profile murder this book will
be very rewarding.
It had me riveted and I wrote a lot of liner notes in my copy.
It had me guessing, thinking, and has led me to investigate a number of other political/historical events.
Chamish writes clearly. He has humor, he has humanity. A quick and very satisfying read. Highly recommended.

In the spring of 2006, on Friday, February 17, investigative journalist and author Barry Chamish suffered from a stroke. Read for this Barry's Newsletter "Now A Few Words" from March 9, 2006.
Although he says he's fully recovered, and I think he is, it was only after this tragic event that certain individuals from Tel Aviv, who hide their identity, have come here and awarded Barry's book "Who killed Yitzhak Rabin" with 1 star, and gently invite the author into some Hospital for the insane.
What happened was that not only Prime Minister Sharon was done away with in January of 2006, but also Barry Chamish was roughly kicked out of Israel, by a stroke and a almost lethal car accident. Barry has been a material witness of a renewed state coup by Ehud Olmert and almost became a lethal part of the collateral damage.
"Who killed Yitzhak Rabin" is, as far i know, the only factual account of what happened when Yitzhak Rabin was killed on Sabbath, November 4, 1995.

I read it. Do I believe it? I'm not sure, but the fact that I have a doubt is cause enough for worry and I think that the book has succeeded in convincing you that there is a doubt. It's scary stuff if viewed as fiction, but for someone that is open-minded, it can be a nightmare...Could such a thing happen in a modern democratic country? Especially, Israel???? It hurts!

excellent book - a must to read!

I actually read the Russian translation of this book (as I was unable to get hold of the English edition), which was amended after the English version got out. And the final chain of facts and events looks very convincing. It is obvious that in Israel they simply don't want to see the truth - there are TOO MANY facts in this book which scream that Rabin was not killed by Igal Amir, but by somebody else. In the Ben Gurion airport they (security agents) usually subject you to a (possible) humiliating search and questioning during departure, so one wonders - why don't they stop chasing shadows in the airport and look behind and do something about this murder!

Barry Chamish's book will definently shock you. No matter what your own political views are, the facts brought in his book arise many questions. Personally, I disagree with his conclusion, and think he might be just a bit paranoid. But that does not mean he is totaly wrong. There are solid facts in his book that only a blind man or one who wishes to ignore the truth would over-look. Read the book with an open mind. You might find it distrbing- and so you should! As the x-files would say:"The Truth is Out There..:" Enjoy

Let Justice Be Served

Israeli author Barry Chamish has served both the Jewish people and the nation of Israel in an invaluable way by seeking justice for Yitzhak Rabin. He has clearly shown, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that the real killers of Yitzhak Rabin remain free and at large, many of them holding political office, and how the official government cover-up is shot through with holes.

Historians will see Mr. Chamish's work as an icebreaker in the Israeli courts of justice, refusing to take no for an answer when a growing number of Israelis are rightly demanding: REOPEN THE RABIN FILE.

In addition, Chamish is an official columnist for the neo-nazi RENSE.com web site and has been linked to several other Holocaust Denial and neo-nazi groups and web sites.

Very well researched - the material presented in this book leaves hardly any doubt that the apparent murderer of Rabin - Amir - was definitely not the one who killed him - that he was a patsy who possibly did not even hurt the PM and that the true killer/s are part of the very people who were supposed to have protected Rabin, ie the Shabak. As to the motives the author offers for the murder - i found them not nearly as convincing as his reconstruction of the events. Also the book is more a collection of documents (autopsy records, ...), newspaper articles and related information and so a somewhat rocky reading. Still to anyone interested in Israel it is very well worth reading and a chilling reminder to what extent hate politics have corrupted parts of Israels society.
