Nix is used to standing strong with his brothers in arms. He learns that asking for help does not make him weak.

I hope the notes and files they found help them find the rest of the children...that would be awesome if they aren't just forgotten.

Great book and really leaves you on a high note for the next step in the story!

Part of the reason I didn't like this book as much as books 1 & 2 is that someone dropped the ball a bit in regards to spelling and typos with misc punctuation marks randomly popping up. The story is just a variation on book two and should have explored new territory. All in all still enjoyable... Just didn't wow me.

Shifters aren't the only ones who mistreat Omegas. Profiteering Humans engage in enterprising ways that benefit the most financially. Seeing shifters having no respect for Omegas they just take advantage of a ready made market of victims, reputation whose disappearance is likely to go under or not even reported at all. By keeping the breeding in house instead of attracting attention by trying to traffic the wrong Omegas (those who are cherished by their families and packs).

A cohesive group of men who have been with each other, care for, protected, searched for, and looked out for each other. They consider themselves brothers whether related by blood or the tightly knitted bond of comraderie. When one hurts they all hurt, when one needs help - everyone wants to assist. Trust is an important factor in these relationships. So is fear - of disappointing, being too needy, of letting the others down. Helping to find answers to pressing questions. Showing love and concern when no one else did. Being vulnerable and not afraid to reveal it.

I simply love the Wildwood Mates series. The characters come alive, pulling you into their story. My old friends welcomed me back, drawing my in from the first pages. I went willingly. This segment features tiger Phoenix and wolf River. Their newly mated bliss is interrupted by a rescue mission: omegas held captive for breeding. This is what Nix is trained for. He is reluctant to leave newly pregnant River, but it's the right thing to do. Thank the Goddess for family and loyal friends. There will be heartache, joy, anger, danger, and really hot sex. Ooh, and babies & toddlers. Lots of them. You are gonna love this book! Do yourself a favor: read the previous books in order. They are fabulous. I can't wait for the next book.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

There were a few spots in the book where it was difficult to tell who the speaker was and also a couple of places where the name wasnt right. The other issues i had were the left over unaswered questions. Where did the omegas end up especially Sam and Joshua? Did they get any information from the warehouse? Did the search Tre's place in town for more info? Are the planning on helping or finding someone to help locate the missing children(weither they be sold or discarded into the foster system)? Did the talk to the rescued omegas to find out more of a backstory on the warehouse and if there was anyone else involved or see if the could learn the name of the doctor? Was Nix not ready before to find out about his past or did he finally want closer once this job came up? Could he have contacted someone within the system to see if he could finnd out the details of him entering the system? The story is good. Its nice and sweet until he leaves home for the job.

I enjoyed the prior two books in this series but I’m not sure exactly how I feel about this one. I love the fated mates premise and this book picks up after Home in his Arms with Nix and River having just bonded. They find out River is pregnant just as Nix has to leave to go on a mission, and then I felt like we spent the better part of the book with Nix and River apart from each other. The whole story just felt off to me, incomplete. The basic story is good but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as the prior books.

Fated mates!

I did enjoy In Whole In Arms very much, but I usually do enjoy Skye R Richmond’s work. Nix has found his fated mate in River. Omega River knew as soon as his eyes met Nix’s that he’d found his “one”. Nix and his crew of fellow Alpha’s find a camp full of hostages, omegas and their children. They are being used as surrogates and the babies are sold to humans. Nix finds two of his brothers there and his crew rescue all of the omegas and the children. The feeling both River and Nix feel while apart is shared between the mate bond. River feels Nix’s stress and Nix feels River’s worry. Some angst, tiger and wolf, fated mates, mpreg... what's not to love? Enjoy!
