Meals weren't as hard to figure out as baking--cookies, muffins, pancakes. This book has great, easy and realistic baking recipes that we are really enjoying. I've satiated my desire and need to bake, so now we're using the meal recipes, and they are usable, realistic, and tasty as well. Our diet was getting a bit monotonous, and these recipes have really helped round it out.
The thing I appreciate the most about the recipes is that they are not only alternatives, but that they are low in salt and sugar, unlike other alternatives that I have tried.
And finally, this book is actually for someone with multiple allergies, but if all the allergies don't apply to your family, it also tells you how to substitute things that you can eat back in.
