Of necessity, our household is cane sugar-free, but our Hummers love this better than any so called nectar one can buy. It melts beautifully, is clear and fresh looking, and the birds love it. We do occasionally add simple syrup made with this to make incredibly delicious lemonade. If I were baking with this, I would feel confident of good results.
