I have used this product for years but never really looked at the nutritional values on the back. Well, what to my eyes do appear? 16g of ADDED sugars. OMG. This is a total hoax. Many people with diabetes use this as an alternative to sugar but only to realize it has added sugars which totally debunk the low glycemic!

If you can't take sugar or want to cut down on sugar intake, then this is the product for you. It does sweeten the tea or coffee whichever you prefer. Doesn't take a lot and much better for you than regular sugar. Last a long time. There is not really a 'taste'/'flavor' to it. Just sweetens what you need to sweeten.

My only thing is the way it pours out. If done carefully it doesn't leave any on outside of bottle. This is 2nd time I've purchased this product. ad it's Organic!

Value used to be much better, but I'm diabetic and this is the only low-glycemic sweetener that truly tastes like sugar unlike other 'sweeteners' that are unhealthy and always have some yucky aftertaste. I use it in beverages, baking and cooking. In the cold winters I make homemade hot chocolate without any sweetening and put out the Agave, sugar and other sweeteners for my guests to add their own. Over the years, they've all chosen the Agave! Good stuff.

I use agave syrup in my coffee because it's sweeter than white sugar and you can use less of it to get the same level of sweetness. Supposedly natural sweeteners are better for you than processed sugar. Agave syrup can be expensive but this brand is a good price for a high quality product. It's sweeter than some other syrups I tried so I use less. Though it doesn't really have a flavor other than "sweet," it it gives my coffee a rich flavor that was missing with sugar. I highly recommend Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Blue Agave Nectar.
