Helps menstrual cramps

I use molasses to combat menstrual cramps. Ever since I had a copper IUD put in my cramps became unbearable. I had tried soo many things to help but always ended up curled up around a hot pad barely able to function. I searched and searched the internet for tips but all I could find was the standard adviceL take ibuprofen before they start and exercise and don't drink caffeine and so on. None of which helped me. Then, after watching a hair tutorial on YouTube I saw a recommended video about menstrual cramps. In it the girl said she takes one tablespoon of black strap molasses a day and her cramps have gotten better and her period is shorter and lighter. So I figured I had nothing to lose and tried it. I've been taking a tablespoon every day for over a year now and they just keep getting better and better and better. It isn't an instant cure. You have to take it every day, even when you're not on your period, to get the most benefit. But each month it just keeps improving. The first month I did it helped, but it was still pretty intense. The second month was less intense. And so on and so on! I've tried different brands and they all help. But this brand seemed to help the most. You can take it mixed in with stuff if the taste and texture bug you. But I just drink a tablespoon straight every morning after breakfast. It's a miracle cure!

Great tasting molasses! Versatile!

I was buying the smaller bottle of this in the grocery store, and was so glad to see the 3-pack larger bottles at such a great price. I am taking a tablespoon (right from the spoon) 3x's/day for persistent iron deficiency anemia. I like molasses and the taste is really good. Too early to know if it is helping my anemia, but I have noticed that I am not craving any sweets at all, and I have had more energy throughout the day. Fingers crossed it is helping my iron levels! One tablespoon of this molasses packs 15% of the RDA for iron, so just from my 3 TBS, I am getting 45% of my needed iron intake. I am also taking supplements and eating a lot of iron rich foods to hopefully finally be done with it.

As far as flavor, if you like the taste of molasses, this products is smooth, rich and malty. It tastes good as a marinade for salmon, chicken or ribs, is great in homemade baked beans, or added to smoothies, or added to your favorite beverage. I even drizzled it over frozen bananas I run through the blank of my juicer, to make a frozen dessert like ice cream without dairy or sugar. Top with raw walnuts and it is really tasty!

I'm not sure what else to report about it, but will revisit this when I have my next labs drawn.

Very good for women

I try to take this product on a regular basis, every day or every couple of days. It has helped me with an estrogen dominance problem (heavy bleeding) and other pms symptoms. I consider it to be a medicinal product. It is loaded with nutrients women need, like iron, potassium, etc... I love that it is organic.
The best way I have found to take it is like a tea. I started out putting about 1 tablespoon in a mug and filling it with hot water, then sipping it.
My favorite recipe now is to put 1 Tbsp in the mug and stir in about 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Then I add the water, leaving some room at the top. Then I pour in about 2-3 Tbsp of coconut milk and stir. This "tea" is rich and creamy and tastes a lot like hot coco with a little zip from the cayenne.

Product is great. Notice several differences since taking it. Things I never expected or knew would happen. I am now sleeping straight thru the night, I am much more regular when using the restroom, my verility has increased. Feel like a teenager again. So I guess that's good and bad. But bad in a good way. Skin seems to be doing better. Brown spots have faded a little. Haven't been taking it long enough to see if the grey hair starts to go away. But all the other stuff has been great. My blood sugar machine is on the fritz so it's hard to know the affects on that but once it's fixed i can report back.

Tastes Great, and Organic, Too

This organic blackstrap molasses is thick and rich. It has a nice, deep flavor and is sweet, but not TOO sweet. Just right. Every day, I have one meal replacement shake consisting of the chocolate-flavored Garden of Life Raw Meal powder, and I add a couple of tablespoons of molasses and a couple of teaspoons of PB2 powdered peanut butter. The molasses/peanut combination tastes like a Mary Jane candy. I also like a tablespoon of molasses mixed in with my oatmeal, with a few walnut halves on top. I take molasses every day because of the purported health benefits, so the 32 ounce bottle three-pack is a better value for me.

Goodbye Menstrual Pains

Controls my menstrual cramps and pains. I used to have Biblical period pains but taking this after breakfast two days before my period and then everyday during my period, definitley is a life saver. I can not recommend this enough. I started taking this with milk, now a year later I can just take it straight from a spoon and not mixing it at all. It is an aquired taste but you can get there. Remember this contains iron so you CAN NOT take this on an empty stomach. You must eat then take it,if not then you will feel sick.
